MAY YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE WITH ART, LEARN MORE ABOUT ARTISTS AND THEIR TECHNIQUES, OR EVEN IF YOU ARE AN ARTIST WHO WANTS TO FIND DEEPER INSPIRATIONS AND DEVELOP YOUR SKILLS : THIS CLASS IS FOR YOU !

Hi, I'm Stéphane Ducret

And I am a Swiss professional visual artist with more than 30 years of experience and I come here with a unique and proven step-by-step painting teaching class.

I am a graduate with BFA & MFA at HEAD (Haute école d’art et de design), Geneva and I have been on the board of directors and teacher at ECAL (Ecole cantonale d’art de Lausanne), Lausanne. I also founded two art galleries in New York and Geneva and directed one Lausanne.

In 2016, having felt a block in my own artistic practice, I created ART CLASSE where, since then, hundreds of participants have succeeded in painting many real "fake" paintings after famous great masters...

And finally, thanks to my REAL/FAKE workshops, I myself have found creative inspiration for my individual practice.

One of the first classes had to be done about this emblematic artist who inspired the ART CLASSE logo.

Class after André Butzer

In Ducret’s painting classes, children always mix with adults and it gives a very positive energy.

Class after Mark Rothko

"I am amazed every day by the masterpieces that my students paint, like this 4-year-old!" says Stéphane.

Class after Gerhard Richter

Learning new techniques is the base: those Abstract Paintings are always different, always unique.

Class after Christopher Wool

The painting says it all… "Today is my favorite day" (with the kind admiration of artist Daniel Ybarra).

Class after Stanley Whitney

Music plays an important role in those classes: it is everywhere present, like in this artist’s paintings.

Class after Yayoi Kusama

Not only do you learn painting techniques, but just as importantly, you embrace the intimacy of the artist.

Class after Joe Bradley

Teaching about an artist sometimes brings up another… In this class: an amazing Joan Mitchell.

Class after Jean-Michel Basquiat

The best way to enjoy and improve oneself is to reconnect to our inner child.
